Raj Hit
General Manager Enterprise Risk | Lotto NZ

Raj is a collaborative leader in Risk who is a trusted-adviser to the business, leveraging global consulting and financial services experiences (Singapore, London, Washington D.C. and Auckland). During his career Raj has built and motivated high performing teams in Risk & Assurance functions to deliver customer focussed results. His approach to risk is to provide pragmatic advice, guidance and assurance balancing risk with reward. Raj endeavours to support and help lead values-based businesses to be more successful than the competition to deliver the right customer outcomes.  Presently, Raj leads the Risk & Assurance function at Lotto NZ and is part of the Senior Leadership Team, with direct responsibility for Risk policies, frameworks and systems, Controls Assurance programme and integrity of the bi-weekly live-televised draws.

Charlotte Brown
Joint Managing Director | ResOrgs

Charlotte is Joint Managing Director of ResOrgs, a research, consulting and training group helping organisations, groups and communities to be future ready (www.resorgs.org.nz).  As a social scientist with a civil engineering background, Charlotte often works at the interface between physical and social sciences.  Charlotte’s areas of specialty include risk management, systems thinking, decision-making and organisational resilience.  Charlotte also has particular strengths in the practical application and communication of research.  Charlotte is an Adjunct Fellow with the Department of Civil and Natural Resources Engineering at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand and has a PhD in Disaster Waste Management.

 

David Fox

With over 20 years of experience in project and programme risk management, David Fox has collaborated with leading organisations in New Zealand, Europe and the Middle East. David’s approach to risk management is both practical and people-centric, emphasising the simplification of complex risk processes and the cultivation of a risk-aware culture tailored to each organisation’s unique environment and resources.

Committed to empowering business decision-makers—the true risk managers—David provides them with the knowledge, tools, and support necessary for effective risk management. David strongly believes that risk management needs to evolve to better handle the volatility, uncertainty, and rapid changes present in today’s business world.

To further this mission, David established Fox-Risk Consultancy, a firm dedicated to enhancing risk management capabilities for businesses of all sizes across New Zealand and beyond.
