Next Steps – Voting
On Monday 14 December 2020, voters will receive an email from our secure online election and voting platform, Election Runner. The email will have your unique Voter ID and Voter Key. Please use these to login to Election Runner and cast your vote.
Voting will be open until 5pm on Friday 22 January 2021, but we encourage you to cast your vote before the Christmas break.
All of the candidate profiles will be shown in Election Runner so you can login, read the information about each candidate and then vote, all in one session.
Elections Procedure
Our Constitution sets the rules for the election. A new Constitution was adopted at the 2019 AGM, and this introduced some changes from how the elections have been conducted before.
RiskNZ Members registered to vote will receive voting links to cast their vote in the email attached to them in the RiskNZ Member Registry.
In the case of a Corporate Member, only the individual recorded as the Authorised Representative of the Member will receive the voting link.
For integrity and security reasons, the voting links received on emails are the only way to vote in the elections. Voting will not take place on the RiskNZ website.
Candidate information will be published within the members area of the RiskNZ website and will remain accessible throughout the voting process.
Candidate information will also be accessible when members click on the voting link that they will receive on their emails.
An opportunity to shape and lead RiskNZ
Thank you for your interest in the 2021 elections to the Board of RiskNZ.
In accordance with our constitution, the voting process will begin in mid December 2020 and conclude in mid January 2021. The election results will be announced in early February.
In 2021 RiskNZ is seeking candidates for six Board positions. Four current board members are coming to the end of their current two-year terms and will seek re-election. A further two board members will be stepping down and will leave their positions vacant. All six positions will be open for appointment to successful candidates. The election process will run if there are more than six candidates. If there are six or less suitable candidates, those people will be appointed.
