Three deaths on New Zealand farms in a week has prompted WorkSafe to remind farmers to think about ways they can minimise harm.
A child died on a farm in Ōpōtiki on Thursday. There were also two tractor deaths earlier in the week, one in Te Kuiti and the other in Hastings.
A farmworker also rode off a 10-metre cliff near Atiamuri, 45 kilometres north of Taupō, last Tuesday and was flown to Waikato Hospital.
The man was unable to move after the crash and lay at the bottom of the cliff for more than two hours before being found by family.
